Cadillac Ranch is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state of Texas. It was created in 1974 by Chip Lord, Hudson Marquez, and Dough Michels.

The art installation consists of ten Cadillacs from the years 1949-1963 all buried nose first into the ground. Visitors can stop by any time of the day and are encouraged to graffiti the cars with their own art! You are encouraged to bring your own cans of spray paint and share with fellow visitors.

Now you can come and see tributes and larger-than-life bronze statues of the record-setting American Quarter Horses and also learn more about the people who made it all possible! American Quarter Horses are a breed of horses that are known for their speed in quarter-of-a-mile races, so to be considered a quarter-horse, they must be able to run a quarter mile in twenty-three seconds. The Hall of Fame's hours are between Tuesday and Saturday, and it's a great way to learn more about the history of the horse breed.

They also have Chuck Wagon Events that you can book. The event includes a cowboy guitarist, historian, horses, wranglers on horseback, food, an authentic atmosphere, and souvenirs.

Amarillo Zoo is a 15-acre site located in Thompson Park. The zoo was founded in 1955 and is home to over 80 species of unique animals. Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy the animals and exhibits.

Some of the most popular exhibits include the African Lion, Black Footed Ferret, Servals, and Ball Pythons. The zoo also offers several education programs such as ZooSchool, ZooMobile, Homeschool at the Zoo, and more! Summer camps are also available to keep kids aged 6-12 entertained and engaged over school breaks.
